Dubai Model United Nations

The Dubai Model United Nations is a return to the origin point. What do we mean by that?
The original idea of bringing students together to debate topics of geopolitical significance was so that we may better prepare the next generation of leaders, diplomats and citizens. Citizens who are equipped with the necessary tools to have constructive conversations to resolve disputes, to argue at the negotiation table as opposed to fighting on the field of battle.
MUNs have grown in popularity over the years, but with that growth they seem to have strayed away from their original goals. It was never supposed to be about ceremonies and awards, rather the challenge and the perspective developed.
DMUN is not reinventing the wheel, we’re simply taking a U-Turn and going back to the origin.
