It's actually more than two. 

 We are often told that there are two sides to every story, but that's not true, certainly not in the real world. If you take any global issue going on currently, there aren't two sides to it. There's almost always more than two. 

Perspective. Perspective allows an individual to see the same situation through different lenses, through different shoes. And each lens and every pair of shoes will probably reveal even more arguments and perspectives than one previously thought. That is what we as an institution are trying to do, we are trying to prepare the next generation of thinkers on how to develop perspective. Al Sarab was born out of that deep sense of mission that the world requires more individuals who can think and solve problems with the ability to switch perspectives and understand the historical significance of the issues and conflicts that they are trying to resolve. 

Al Sarab is on a unique mission to provide a platform where thinkers can contribute their ideas and play a part in preparing the next generation of decision makers. Adults are stubborn and often too set in their ways, but with the youth of the region we still have hope, but that hope is waning with each passing day, with each passing conflict, with each new social media platform. Youth are becoming indoctrinated to hold certain views and to believe a certain set of opinions as facts at a frighteningly fast pace. Al Sarab will develop thinking skills built on the principle of perspective. 

Our first initiative is the Dubai Model United Nations, a unique conference experience that will place students in the roles of UN country representatives and will have them tackle the most pressing issues facing the globe.
